I have several rods from G Loomis and others. This is a very nice rod. It is lightweight and handles crankbaits very well. I crank a lot and being light weight helps when you do this for several hours.
The rod is very sensitive and you can feel the difference when a fish grbs it verses bouncing on the bottom.
It has become my favorite cranking rod.
