This is my first casting rod i have ever purchased and so far i realy like it. I got the 7' medium casting rod paired it with a lews speed spool and it is an excellent combo . I use it for bass fishing around sonoma county California. I think this rod may have gotten me hooked on casting rods.This is my third St.. Croix rod and you cant beet em they are so smooth light and easy to cast. i would recomend this rod to anyone who likes to bass fish.
