Weight system makes your fishing rod more sensitive! My only wish is that Cabela's would bring back the XML steelhead rod. What a shame to stop producing what was likely the best steelhead rod around.

Perfect Weight Balanceing System

This is a perfect weight balancing system. I use it on my Cabela's split grip casting rod which I like to swap reels out on depending on what I am fishing for. When I swap out the reel, I can easily adjust the weight to get the best effectiveness out of my rod with this system!

No hardware included to attach to rod

Here's the problem, there is no hardware to attach to the rod. I planned on using it on a new Cabela's prodigy rod but the screw off the rod is way to short to attach the weights. Good idea but some universal screws would be a great addition to the kit. Will be returning.
