The line does not wind on the spool evenly. The line will build up on one side of the reel. To wind evenly you must apply finger pressure to the line guiding it to the low side of the spool. Very inconvenient when reeling in a fish. I use 12# and 14# Flourcarbon with the same result. Casting distance is about 10 feet longer than with comparable level wind reels. I will stick to level wind reels.

U.S. Reel 600 Series Baitcast Reel

When I got it and carefully examined, then noticed that between the side cover and the casing has a small crack, a bad fit for the outer parts. After I turned sharply regulator of magnetic brakes, broken rattle inside, poor workmanship - it was too flimsy. I disassembled the coil break off and threw the rattle, the gap between the body and side cover I taped, so there did not get sand and water. I used this reel for salmon fishing with a 12 LB fishing line spinners and up to 3 / 4 oz. The line wound around pretty well on the spool, the cast produces a good, but I had to pull out a fish for a long time. When I wrapped 20 LB line, he saw that she was not so well placed on the spool. Given the price and what turns a good shot, I put 3 stars.
