High Efficiency Gearing provides a high-speed retrieve with an unbelievable amount of torque. Super Free system works with the Variable Brake System to control the cast while minimizing backlash. Worth the upgrade

I just got the Chronarch 200E5 as a companion to my CuradoE5. Excellent reel! The Chronarch is fairly comparable to the Curado reel, but slightly more streamlined. After half a day on the water and several hookups, I easily adjusted the variable breaking system, drag, and spool tension to meet my day to day needs. What took me by surprise was how much further I could cast the Chronarch than I can my Curado. Even after tinkering with the VBS, spool tension, and drag on the Curado, I still could not get the same distance out of my casts.

I went into this purchase thinking the Chronarch would be the general equivalent of my Curado. At the end of the day, I ended up purchasing a product that exceeded my expectations. What more can you ask for?
