Combines the legendary performance of the Calcutta TE with the world's first self-energizing digital braking system to add significant distance to your casts with less effort and fewer backlashes. Digital Braking Technology allows spool rotation to exceed 30,000 RPM before applying the optimum amount of braking force every 1/1000 of a second based on your selection of eight pre-programmed settings. This system far surpasses traditional centrifugal or magnetic braking systems that are always engaged (impeding momentum throughout the entire cast) and only operate efficiently between 15,000 and 20,000 RPM. The sealed, waterproof Digital Control circuit board stores energy generated by the rotation of the spool, so no battery or external battery source is needed. Eight-position external dial offers quick, easy adjustment of the system, letting you access the pre-programmed brake patterns. Smooth, high-power Dartanium® drag system handles even the hardest-running fish. 11 total A-RB™ (Anti-Rust Bearings), 10BB + 1RB, are at least 10 times more corrosion resistant than standard stainless steel ball bearings and deliver incredibly smooth operation. HEG™ (High Efficiency Gearing) makes every crank of the handle count. Super Free Pinion Gear System eliminates friction between the pinion gear and the spool shaft for increased freespool. Super Stopper Anti-Reverse ensures positive hooksets. Precision machine-cut aluminum frame and rigid aluminum sideplates. Lightweight aluminum Wiffle Spool.
