Best Reel Ever

i got this reel about a month ago and it is probubly my favorite reel. i only fish quantum and the energy is great, the exo is amazing and the tour is outstanding, its pretty light due to the carbon fiber handle and the light weight spool makes it sweet and the aluminum side plates make it rigid over all its a great buy

Tour Edition PT

I bought this reel on sale or it would have been the most expensive baitcaster I own. It only cost a little more than my Kinetic PT due to the sale. What a bargain! It may be the best all around low profile baitcaster I've had in my hands. Casts smooth and far and the retrieve is effortless. O.K. the Kinetic PT does almost as well, but the Tour has both sideplates metal, the titanium finish, carbon curved handle and a nicer drag star. With more bearings the Tour is slightly smoother, but I,ve discovered any Quantum reel with PT in the designation is a high performance reel. At regular retail you really have to pay for the extra features, but they are worth it. At sale price it's a no brainer! If you want a topnotch baitcaster buy it!

i read the reviews on here before actually purchasing the quantum pt tour edition in the left handed 7.0:1 gearing and im very impressed. i test drove a handful of other brands, including pfleuger, abu garcia, shimano, and a few lesser known brands. im only taking the time to write this review cuz i truly believe that the quantum reels (specifically the pt tour edition) are in a league of their own. i know there are a cpl pro bass fisherman out there that have quantum sponsorship and it makes u wonder if its just about sponsor money, but believe me, the quantum pt tour edition is jus the most solid reel out there for its price. i know its not all about the ball bearings, but the smoothness of this reel is unreal. like any baitcaster, u need to make sure the adjustments are accurate for the weight and type of lure u are using, but if u take the time to adjust properly, u will be very impressed with the casting and the overall feeling of quality in this reel.
