What a reel

Purchased (1) about a year ago. Was so blown away, have since purchased (3) more. And at this sale price, I\u2019ll stock up on 2-3 additional ones. This reel is so smooth!!! And what I really like is after a cast when you turn the handle it shifts into retrieve mode like a rock. Absolutely no loose play in this reel. I have fished with reels double the price of this one and did not find them to be any better. You can\u2019t go wrong with this product. And at this sale price, a no brainer.

1st time for everything

Typically, I'll buy anything with the Cabela's name on it. For me, this purchase was my first miss. I'm sure I picked up the one defective one, but cast # 1 & 2 was a huge birdsnest. Cast #3 the reel won't retrieve. It's light, and I'm sure most are good quality, but mine is heading back tomorrow.

nice reel

This is a very nice all around reel. I paired it with a cabelas tourney trail rod, which i love. It makes a very nice setup. Casts well and barely ever backlashes. Overall its pretty smooth but does have a slightly rough spot when reeling. Maybe needs some oil. For the money you cant beat it. Im considering buying another one. I wish they would make one in a 7:1:1.
