THE BEST BAITCASTER

I am a tournament fisherman and bass fishing guide. This is the reel I use for my tournaments and I am extremely happy with it. I have many reels by many manufacturers and have been using baitcasters for over 40 years. By far this is the best reel I have ever used. It is comfortable in my hand, light weight, casts easily and farther than others, and rarely do I have backlashes. There are times I espected to get a backlash (throwing into the wind, etc.) but I still did not get them. I have not used the newer Premier models but I cannot believe I would be happier than with this reel. I stopped looking for a better real when I started purchasing this one.

i purchased this reel a year ago , it is the farthest casting reel ive ever used feels great in the hand , great drag thats the biggest reason i purchased this reel. i fish a lot of deep brush piles with big jigs and deep crank baits.just love it .

I have had this reel for over a year and it operates as well as it did day 1.Super smooth casting and awesome strength!It has some very nice tension adjustments for casting and also for the drag system.The reel feels great on the rod and in the hand.It is very lightweight which is a huge plus if you spend long hours on the water. I currently fish this reel on the Vengence line of rods and it is a perfect match but I just got my Villian delivered 2 days ago and it will find its new home atop that rod tomorrow!

I have fished quite a few reels throughout my years of fishing, but I must say that the Abu Garcia line of Revos is by far the best. I purchased my first Revo about 3 years ago, and still fish that same reel today. I expect a reel to last through the rigors of a tough day on the water, and Abu Garcia are by far the most durable. I have since then switched to all Abu Garcia, and paired them with Veritas (another great product from Abu). I have so many good things today, that I could probably make this into a novel, but I will end it here. Overall, you can't go wrong. Abu for Life!
