Daiwa® Exceler® Baitcast Combo

The Exceler reel has a super-fast 7.1: 1 gear ratio and Magforce® -Z automatic magnetic anti-backlash control. Eight ball bearings, plus roller bearing. One-piece aluminum frame with swept handle and star drag design. Infinite anti-reverse. Capacity: 150 yds/12-lb. line. The Exceler rod features a highly sensitive graphite blank, Fuji® O-ring aluminum oxide guides and cork grips.
Available: 6'6", 7' Exceler rod.

I recieved a Diawa rod/reel combo. The reel is ok but the rod has a major flaw. If you catch a good size fish the reel comes loose from the rod. I have even tried my old ambasitor reels. The same thing happened. Don't buy this rod. This is my first review ever. When I lost a good fish because of faulty equipment , I felt it was necessary to tell others.

Daiwa Exceler Combo/Reel

This combo is worth is just for the reel. The combo is fantastic, the guides are great and the sensitivity for the rods is great. I bought two St Croix Mojo Bass rods and I have honestly caught more fish on these combos... Murphys Law!

Great Combo

Just a great Combo for the price. It compares to any one of my much more expensive rods and reels. Smooth cast , long cast, and tangle free. If you have not tried a bait caster yet this would be the one to start with. I don't have any problems with birds nest even casting into the wind!
