Cabela's Tournament ZX/Tourney Trail® Split-Grip Casting Combo

Synonymous with value since first introduced, the Pro Guide series now adds casting models to the money-saving lineup. Each is equipped with an aluminum star drag adjust, spool tension knob, quick-change spool system and brass drive gear shaft. We paired these customer-favorite rods with your choice of rods from our legendary Tourney Trail®  series to come up with a money-saving combo to fit your individual fishing needs.

These tournament-proven rods give you a more sensitive-feeling rod for your money. Small, yet strong aluminum-oxide guides are perfectly sized and wrapped to the blanks in a seamless bond.  Weight-reducing EVA split grips and fore grip. IM7 graphite blanks with fast, tip-sensitive actions.  Limited two-year warranty.

This is a nice rod and reel combo for the money. It is smooth and has stood up to long days of catching large bass. I own it in a 7' med rod. paired with 8 lb X50 flourocarbon line.
