Six stainless steel ball bearings and externally controlled magnetic braking system ensure smooth performance from the cast to the catch. One-piece aluminum frame with aircraft-grade graphite side covers, stainless steel spool shaft, ported aluminum spool and aluminum handle with soft knob combine for rugged reliability. Other features include an aluminum star drag adjust, spool-tension knob, quick-change spool system and brass drive gear shaft.
