Pair an Abu Garcia Silver Max casting reel with a Cabela’s Tourney Trail rod in this money-saving combo.

Silver Max reel has 5+1 stainless steel bearing system for smooth performance. Machined-aluminum spool delivers strength without weight. Smooth Power Disk™ drag and MagTrax™ brake system absorb the fight out of fish. Compact bent handle and star adjustment combine with the recessed reel foot for hand-fitting ergonomics. Lightweight graphite sideplates and one-piece frame. Duragear™ brass gear. Right- or left-hand models available.

The Tourney Trail rod series is one of Cabela’s best sellers. These tournament-proven rods give customers a more sensitive-feeling rod for their money. Small, yet strong aluminum-oxide guides are perfectly sized and wrapped to the blanks in a seamless bond. Original models feature screw-down locking fore grips that eliminate exposed threads when the reel is snugged. Weight-reducing EVA split grips. IM7 graphite blanks with fast, tip-sensitive actions. Limited two-year warranty.
