The Black Max reel has a 4+1 stainless steel bearing system, smooth Power Disk drag and MagTrax brake systems. Machined-aluminum spool adds strength without excess weight. Ergonomic design with a recessed foot and compact bent handle and star adjustment. Weight-reducing graphite sideplates and one-piece frame. Duragear brass gear and graphite sideplates. Right- or left-hand models available.

We believe our Pro Guide fishing rods are the best available anywhere in this price range. IM6 100% graphite blanks deliver awesome strength and sensitivity. Fast-action tips provide quick, precise casts and rapid hooksets. Lightweight, high-strength graphite reel seats with padded hoods hold your reel securely. Each includes aluminum-oxide guides, a convenient hook keeper and comfortable Portuguese cork handles. Limited two-year warranty.
