Found the mount on the bottom was of poor quality. Purchased a mount from Scotty downrigger and a Scotty pole holder flush mount. Also, cut two pieces of oakwood 1 x 2 inches for each end to further stabilize the cutting board. Now all is perfect. Can filet most fish I catch and is is perfect for cutting bait. I would recommend the manufacture make the side stabilizers and produce or purchase a mount that was stronger like the scotty.

If you have a rod holder that goes 90 degrees out/not back from the gunnal you can not set the cutting board flat

The mount is the weakness

The cutting board itself is quality, the mount has a lot to be desired. The first thing I did was to remove the plastic handle with a snip from side cutters. I now tighten the mount with a wrench.
Other modifications I may make is to drill a couple more mounting holes to offset the board allowing the blood to drip over the side of the boat and not on it. The mount may not be of sufficient strength to handle the offset however.
Used on a Whaler Outrage 190.

The board is good, the mount is good but the plastic handle is junk. If you want to tighten the board into any position be careful and do not over tighten because you will strip out the handle. Everything is quality except the handle that locks the board in position.
