Overall construction is good but as you troll the bucket will bounce against the boat releasing the latch and the lid will open and you loose your bait. The door is not spring loaded, poor design.

Small opening

I love the minnow bucket but for one small engineering quirk. It is difficult to reach the bottom if your forearm is larger then the opening. Bruised mine with scrapping when trying to reach minnows. All is good if you have a little net to go with it. Might be a nice add-on feature.
