Fitec Pro-Select 3/8" Mesh Casting Net

Fitec Pro-Selecte nets are among the finest production cast nets available. Advanced swoosh pie panel design throws far, opens fast and lays flat. Full 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 pounds of lead weight per radius foot provides lightning fast sink rate. Handcrafted of special-purpose mesh netting comes in 3/8" square mesh. Extra-long 28-ft. heavy-duty floating polyethylene throwline. Special-design braided handloop for comfort and long use. Extra-strong 100-lb. test mono braille lines. Twice the amount of braille lines over standard cast nets. Double selvage construction horn and leadline. Tight-braid polypropylene leadline is durable and produces non-kink laydowns. Properly designed for maximum spread and flatness. Comes in high-impact reusable plastic bucket.

The net is made of good quality mesh however it will tear if caught on something. I wish the mesh and lines were a little stronger.

Purchased this 7' net as a shallow water light weight alternative to my 10' net. This net is well made using decent quality materials. Not as fancy or polished as my much higher priced 10' net, but it opens just as well if not better. I really like the resin covered weights on the lead line. They don't leave marks on my white boat deck like bare lead. Great net for the price!

Fitec 7' cast net

I bought a 7'- 3/8" mesh, Fitec cast net. I am very disappointed in the quality of this net.
1) It measures 6 1/2 feet only, stretched out.
2) The monofiliment mesh is too short for the lead line circle
3) The braille lines are not of consistent length
4) The mesh is stiff, has a memory and is hard to handle smoothly.
5) When it arrived the plastic bucket was broken and unuseable.

I will go with another brand next time.
