Lodge Logic Pre-Seasoned Tri-Leg Dutch Oven

  • Ruggedly cast for years of use
Suspend the pot over a fire with the use of a tripod or set it right in the hot coals after the fire has gone out. Three legs on the base enable you to set the pot down on an even surface without scorching it. A special ultrahigh temperature curing process at the foundry gives these ovens a black patina finish. Invert the lids for use as makeshift griddles. Pre-seasoned and ready to use.

    I wavered between cheaping out and getting the Cabelas brand dutch oven and ponying up for the Lodge.
    I'm really glad I went with the Lodge model! The fit and finish on the oven are fantastic! The iron is really smooth and the lid fits snugly. The bail isn't the sturdiest thing I've seen, but it does the job.
    When I went to the store to pick up the oven, I looked at the Cabelas model in person. The casting was pitted badly, the lid fit badly, and the seasoning was uneven.
    Get the Lodge!

    dutch oven the best

    I love my dutch oven. It is sturdy and long lasting and gives the best taste for stews and chillies. we even cooked a turkey breast in it one day, it was the moistest, tenderest turkey we had ever had.

    My wife and I bought two of you dutch ovens to take on or camping trips. we have made, apple crisp, brownies, chicken and rice, chuck roasts, and stews. All have been delicious. The only problem is the other campers want some, oh well. thanks for your Amazing pruduct.
