MTM Case-Guard J-20 20-Round Slip-Top Rifle Ammo Boxes

Good bang for the buck.

These boxes were good bang for the buck, they fit my 8mm mauser rds well but unfortunatly my mosin rnds did not. I was happy to see they were made in the U.S.A.!!! I will but them again. They do not lock closed but a good rubberband will fix that.

Great for ammo storage

I've used these for years to store ammo and to set on my bench at the range. A great purchase considering how cheap they are and that they last forever. I do either tape them or put rubber bands around them if I travel by air. I'd rather do that than pay much more for ones with latches that either don't work or eventually wear out.

So-so useable

I was looking for a cartridge case that would hold my 7mmRemMag. Although the box says it's good for 7mmRM the bullets stick in the case and are difficult to remove. The only way to make use is to invert the bullet and put them in nose down with the result that the bullets rattle a lot. On the other hand these boxes work well for my .308 and .270. I'll find something else for the 7mm.
