Carpet and Vinyl Floor Adhesive

This vinyl adhesive is the perfect match to our marine carpets. Simple to apply with a notched trowel, this adhesive is highly recommended by our carpet and vinyl supplier for marine applications. Vinyl adhesive is latex-based and can be cleaned up with water.  Covers 12-15 sq. yds. Per gallon.

I used this glue for attaching carpet to my aluminum boat. The glue seems to be fine but takes along time to dry. The can came in the package open. It spilled on other items that i ordered. Luckily it was a small amount and the new seat i ordered was in plastic. The seal on the bucket is not locked. I didnt have enough so i will go to the hardware store.

1-11 I purchased a carpet adhesive that I could use to adhere new carpet to my boat I was restoring....When I received the glue, there is nothing stated on the directions on the container stating it could be used on metal. Dissatisfied customer...This is the only adhesive found in the Cabela's catalog. Beware if you are purchasing it for a metal boat "It is not for metal"

Terrible glue

I bought this glue to apply the cabela's vinyl I bought for my aluminum boat. I read the instructions and followed them perfectly. After a week of keeping it dry and out of the weather like the instructions said, the glue was still wet and was not holding the vinyl down. I would not recommend anyone to buy this stuff.

A hassle to use.Probably better for indoor use.The ideal weather conditions may never occur here in my lifetime.I don`t know what else to use,but I hope I never have to do this again.
