Not water resistant

You would think a cargo carrier wold be water resistant, this one was not. We traveled from Texas to Georgia and passed thru a rain storm. When we got to the hotel everything was soaking wet. I think we wold have been better off wrapping everything in coffee filters! Very disappointing.
