Creativly built...
Date:
I knew very little about bike racks. After researching products, it was apparent to me, that Yakima was a very creative and savvy builder of racks. Looking through the Cabelas internet pages and after some sorting, I found the Stick Up model to fit my needs best. I liked this model because of the need not to hang the bikes from the top bar. My goal was to avoid purchasing the Yakima Tube Top (extra bar to add to women\u2019s bikes), however with the design of the Stick Up bike rack, I did resort to buying the Tube Top for stable transport. The hitch pin for the rack is threaded, so adding a locking hitch pin really isn't an option with this rack, as you need to use the threaded hitch pin which comes with the rack. This hitch pin did help take out a lot of the wobble when mounted in the receiver hitch. I was able to get the bike rack on sale, so that made the purchase decision easier as well. The quality of the build and design offset the issues I had with the rack, so\u2026I am a happy purchaser of this product.
