Solid Kayak Cart
Date:
This is a solid cart - it has consistently gotten good reviews around the internet and that is why I bought it. I have not been disappointed after the first use. Easy to attach to kayak and use. I like the tires and simple design for removing/attaching. It rolls smoothly on/off pavement, grass, gravel, etc. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design. Only critique which could be leveled against most of the good kayak carts out there is that it is fairly large/bulky. I haven't tried yet but it would fill up must of the space in one of my storage bulkheads if I were to bring it along so I leave it in the car while out paddling. That's not an issue for day use but would be a problem if going on multiday trip with portages. Of course something smaller would be useless off of the pavement, but would stow easy - obvious tradeoffs.
