I bought this becuase I was looking for more support on a trip to the Boundary Waters. It worked well and held up for over 45 miles of canoeing. Only problem was it did not fit in the back of the Alumacraft 17' Quetic we rented. It did fit in the front so I rode shotgun for the entire trip (Okay with me). The seat was to wide for to fit the back seat. Also you can get it tighter by crossing the straps.

no matter how much the straps were tightened, i was unable to achieve anything close to decent back support... i am relatively light, and this shouldn't have been an unreasonable design request...
