Made from pure beeswax that coils up from the burning plate to the clip, the candle will burn for approximately 20 min. per inch exposed above the clip. Once the flame reaches the clip, it extinguishes itself. Nonpolluting with very little wax residue.

    I read the other reviews before I bought the candle, and I was cautious about the functionality of the product, as many many customers complained. Eventually, I bought the 80 hr upright model. Soon after buying it my power failed and I was using it. But after figuring out what was required to reposition the candle....it seemed to easy and I wondered why people had complained. That aside, I like products. It combines a rustic look and functionality of a candle to produce light. So I am pleased with it.

    They are great looking and work really well I have so many comments on them evertone has asked me where I purchased them so I told them. They reaaly add to the cabin

    I purchased the Candles by the Hour Hurricane Lamp. I love the look of this product. Unfortunetly, to get the candle out of the lamp is a little difficult. You have to pull the candle out and then reinsert these two halfed pieces. It is difficult. The candle also burns fairly quickly. What I like is that the candle burns clean and it does go out at the pinch point. So if you fall asleep, you do not have to worry about having an open flame. I would try one of the other candles, but not sure I would recommend to a friend at this time.
