This knife is comes with qualify material and sharp blade. You just need to hone it a bit, and the edge will cut through hair, but the handle breaks when I use it to chop small wood. Also, the golden metallic part at the end of the handle loosens and goes out of place/alignment with the grip.
Otherwise, it is a perfect size knife for any purpose, especially hunting big game. I used it to skin an entire deer withouth having to sharpen it.

I ordered this knife to use camping and other outdoor activities and it lasted about five days. the sheath is tan not black. the handle is plastic and it started falling apart very fast. the blade chipped really bad to. This knife is not well built at all

This Is A Nice Knife

Cabelas carried these knives a while back then discontinued them. I never purchased one even though they were highly rated by other shoppers. I bought one recently and am impressed by the quality. The fit and finish is very good and the edge wasn't too bad. A half an hour with my Lansky system and now this big boy is razor sharp. The sheath is brown and not black and is so-so. I will be making my own soon.
