    Great Knife!
    Date:
This knife is outstanding! Great grip and edge retention. The drop point doesn't always penetrate very well but the wolverine i'm sure would. the sheath is nothing to cheer about but the knife can't be beat. it may not be razor sharp but man does it work.

    Very Usable Knive
    Date:
I ordered this knife and had very high expectations largely because of previous experiences with the brand. When the knife arrived I was not disappointed a bit.
The blade is durable and very sharp out of the box. I am a bit finicky about the sharpness of my knives and usually end up working on the edge a bit. I really didn't have to do anything with this blade, although a very fine stone was applied for smoothness and probably out of habit.
The knife is light and very easy to handle. The handle is made for use and a grip is easy to maintain even when it and your hand becomes wet.
All in all an excellent knife.

    Nice
    Date:
Seems to be a nice knife...can't find anything I don't like about it but it's still new. It arrived shaving sharp, is a good size for a big game hunting knife, solid front bolster, excellent grip and deep thumb grooves on the spine. I like the idea of the D2 steel but will know more once I've had to sharpen it. I've bought Buck knives for years w/the 420HC steel blades but for the last couple of years have been looking for a blade that holds an edge longer. I had a terrible experience w/the Buck Custom Shop and decided to start looking at other knife makers. I currently own two knives w/S30V steel and when they are sharp, they are excellent. I've still not found the best sharpening system for them and am hoping the D2 may be a little easier to work with.
The knife comes with a nice deep, quality sheath but it has a velcro handle strap that I don't like at all. Given that the knife slides deep into the sheath I may just remove the strap or I may have another one made w/a snap. The velcro was clearly a bad idea as the strap tends to slip making it cumbersome to either release or close the strap.

    Great Knife
    Date:
I have the Wolverine model. At first I was skeptical of buying this knife because of the price. I have had mine for 2 years now and have cleaned 5 deer with it. This Knife is worth every penny! Get a good edge on it and you can field dress and bone out an entire deer without having to sharpen it. The feel of the knife is great, you wont find a knife for the same price with the balance and a handle like this knife. Great product!
