The WindPro's remote burner design makes it one of the most versatile stoves around. With a remote burner, finding a setup spot is easier, and it can support larger pots (up to 9" max diameter). includes windscreen. Boils 1 liter of water in 4.25 minutes. Weight: 9 oz.
I have only used this stove twice it seems to be a good product. I am glad to have decided on this stove as there seems to be a lot of choices. The only thing that may seem not very fuctional is the wind screen. But that wouldn't stop me from buying this product again.
I have used this stove several times when backpacking in the mountains, and on the coast. I've also packed it on my dirt bike for some back country rides where I was camping out. It is light weight, compact, very easy to use. I like the adjustable flame. Using a butane canister is easier than packing in white gas. It comes with a wind screen and it very helpful when the wind picks up while you are cooking.
Stove works great for cooking to,not just for heating water up.wind sheild keeps the wind off the burner so heat stays on pan.best stove i have used in over 30 years, will also run real low.
I am a Scoutmaster and we are preparing for a backpacking trek next year. Going to the Rockies and need to work on light weight backpacks etc. This is a wonderfully light weight stove and compact. Love the way it fits into my cooking pot for storage. This stove probably won't make it on our backpacing trek because it may not work well in the altitude. Also found out that propane/butane stoves don't work well for our winter campouts with lows in the teens. Just can't get the pressure. Glad I also brought my MSR Whisperlite liquid stove!!!
