Lodge Enamel 11" Skillet

  • Cast from molten iron in individual sand molds
  • Minor irregularities add character
  • Hard, glossy, chip-resistant enamel surfaces are easy to clean
  • Hygienic and won't react with foods
Once the hunt is over, outdoorsmen take to the stove to prepare what they harvested during the hunt. Cast from molten iron in individual sand molds, this 11" skillet is hand-prepared prior to the application of several baked-on enamel layers. The result is sharp-looking cast-iron cookware that performs second-to-none. The manufacturing process leaves minor irregularities that add character without compromising performance. Hard, glossy, chip-resistant enamel surfaces are easy to clean and eliminate the need to season the cookware. They're also hygienic and won't react with foods. Great for cooking, and also for marinating and refrigerating. Limited lifetime warranty.

Needs a lid, but great skillet
Date:
I love this skillet. With a glass top stove, I was unable to use my old lodge cookware, but the smooth surface of this skillet now makes it possible! Food will stick a little, but nothing bad. So much better for your health than Teflon. The only thing that would make this even better would be a lid for when one is frying bacon, etc. I will have to get a splatter guard. Other than that I highly recommend it!

Awesome

This skillet was everything I had hoped for. Not only is the finish an eye catcher, but the quality of the food that the cast iron cooks is incredible.

Lodge 11" skillet
Date:
After years of cooking on my cast iron camping and outside I can finally use it indoors on my glass top stove and Lodge has come up with a great product. Nothing browns like cast and this pan is no exception. The wife loves the pan for hash browns. Yes it sticks more than teflon but if you keep it oiled and the right temprature you will have no trouble. Deglazing with a little water after cooking while the pan is still hot makes cleanup a breeze. I plan on buying more of the this new line for our kitchen.
