I bought this a few weeks ago mainly for camping. I decided to give it a trial run at the house one morning.
AMAZING. Needless to say our drip style coffee maker has only been used once since then. Buy this.
You won't regret it.

Use it Everyday, not just camping

This is not only the best for outdoor use, but one I find I use everyday. We have the large 50 oz size as well. Easy to clean, sturdy, and well made. The "O" ring comes off quickly for thorough cleaning, and is all dishwasher safe. Buying another for our vacation place, which will be the 3rd that we've purchased. Bottom line is that it makes great coffee and cleans up well. The 30 oz size is good for 2 people (althought the coffee's so good you may wish you made more!)
Note that you want to use a coarser, french press grind rather than standard drip grind.
