Now you can drip-brew coffee just like at home, using your Coleman stove. It works like your coffee maker. You can even use it to make hot cocoa, hot cider or a bowl of instant soup. It is compatible with two- and three-burner camp stoves, and has a solid steel base, drip-brew function and swing-out filter basket that removes for easy cleaning. The easy-pour decanter holds a full 10 cups of liquid and is properly heated after just 10 minutes. The special design keeps the water at just the right temperature. Brewing pause-n-serve feature.
Measures: 14" x 11-1/4" x 9-1/4".
Bought this coffee pot years ago. Still works. Better to use on a larger stove - tends to take longer on smaller camp stoves. (read the product dimensions then measure your stove burner) It would be a full 5 stars if the canister was not glass. After all, it is for camping. But I sure do love my coffee first thing in the morning! This does an excellent job!!!
The wife and I bought one of these several months ago and were disappointed with the normally good design and service from Coleman. We used it on the stove top 3 - 4 times and it plugged itself up and over flowed every time. Never did get a cup of coffee. You have to put your hand under the water outlet and hold the lever in place while putting the pot in place. If the lever is not exactly in place you'll over flow every time. Poor design and not easy to use. Returned the pot for refund. I definitely would not recommend this coffee pot to anyone. Coleman, go back to the drawing board.
Great idea... Needs one major change: Make the carafe out of stainless steel instead of glass. This would allow for easy re-heating by placing the carafe directly onto the stove for a minute; as once the coffee is done brewing, there isn't a way to keep the coffee hot. (It could also brew a little faster -- it takes a good 20 minutes on the propane stove in our camper.) It does make a cup-a-java though!
