Best coffee since the 70's!
Date:
Best coffee since I was a teenager. Mom used to perc her coffee on a woodstove in Northern Wisconsin. Finally found a percolator that makes comparable coffee. I use it on my glass stovetop...works great. For those that have had issues with grinds falling into coffee while pouring, just pull the grind basket and stem out before pouring.

gooooood coffee
Date:
follow the direction's on the box to make coffee and it's good cup of joe......ok this is what i found out this deer season, one pot make's two cup's of coffee & fill's up my thermos to the the top. i have good size travel coffee cup's and a stanley thermos. so a cup for yourself and your hunting partner to go and two refills for the each of you after you run dry in your cup so it make's 6 large cups of coffee. and it is a nice looking coffee pot. i made about 10 pot's of coffee in it on the gas stove and no discoloring at all & i don't think it will loos it's shine eather. im really happy with my cabelas 12-cup coffee pot.

Solid percolator
Date:
We purchased a 12 cup percolator for everyday use and have been pleased with our purchase. All of the parts fit together snugly so it's easy to put together and take apart. The silicon handle is nice for use on our stove, and I would think would be fine over a camping stove as long as care was taken not to directly expose it to flame, I can pick up the pot right off the stove and the silicon is nice and cool to the touch. Of course, it does a nice brew, though I'd recommend thinking of getting a grinder just to make a more course grind of coffee.
