Camp Chef Outdoor Camp Oven

  • Combines compact size, portability and cooking power
  • Features stove-top cooking and a baking oven
  • Matchless ignition system
  • Corrosion-resistant stainless steel construction
  • Nonstick enamel cooking surface

This Camp Oven has just what every camp needs to enjoy superior eating in the outdoors – compact size, portability and raw cooking power. Don't let its compact size fool you. The Outdoor Camp Oven features more than 14,000 total BTU of cooking energy. Twin burners and a spacious oven have plenty of power to get your cooking/baking done the way you like it, right there in camp. The unit uses a disposable 1-lb. propane tank, or it can be adapted to use a 20-lb. tank for increased cooking time. The range's dual burners put out a whopping 5,300 BTU per burner. The oven heats at 3,000 BTU per hour with a maximum temperature of 400°F. Two oven racks allow you to cook your main meal and dessert at once. An oven thermometer helps keep heat constant and monitors your meal's cooking progress. The matchless burner igniters mean you won't have to fumble for a lighter or matches while in the field. The stove's folding lid and carry handles were designed with portability in mind, so it's easy to get into and out of camp. Stainless steel construction resists corrosion for years of cooking without problems. Nonstick enamel cooking surface makes cleaning swift and easy with just soap and water.

Wont camp without it now!
Date:
I bought this for Boy Scouts winter camp, as it was going to be just my son and I from our troop this year. The dad that has a huge camp griddle wasn't able to go this year so we had to fend for ourselves. This camp stove made it a pleasure. It has now gone on 3 camps since winter camp. I have cooked pizza, bread, cinnamon roles, cookies, and of course all manner of breakfast and dinner. It has nearly replaced his military grill. He can still out cook me on pancakes!
Mine has the good handles and I have had no trouble controlling the temperature on a bulk tank or 1 lbs bottle.

Great stove
Date:
Just spent 8 days camping with our new camp chef. Worked great!!! Oven takes a little getting used to, but bisquits for breakfast every morning. Stove burners can be a hassle if you have much wind blowing, but no worse than any other camp stove. Some reviews stated theirs came with recessed handles, but mine came with good solid handles that made moving the stove easy. I am going to order the carrying bag. One other note: if you plan on purchasing pans that fit the oven, remember that the stated size specifications on the pan refers to the actual cooking area of the pan-it does not take into account the handles. Good buy.

Great oven
Date:
We got this stove for my husband for Christmas last year, and we love it. It's great to be able to do all of our cooking outdoors and not have to unnecessarily heat the camper to do our baking.
The only reason we don't give it 5 stars is because of its lack of handles.

Designated Cook

I live in Ohio and duck hunt on St Marys lake. This stove has elevated the old camp hoe hum grub to awesome duck blind cuisine. It has plenty of burner heat and the oven has added even more options for stuff to make. This is the best purchase I have made from Cabelas so far
