To encourage your kids to venture into the woods for a day of hunting, you know they need to stay comfortable. That’s where our Youth Silent Suede Coveralls come in. The soft, quiet 100% waterproof warp-knit material keeps kids warm, dry and in the woods instead of wet, cold and dashing for the warmth of the truck. And this low-nap material sheds burs and other clingy vegetation with ease. The coveralls have two slash pockets in the front and a snap-close rear pocket. Full-length leg zippers make for easy on and off over boots. The removable three-piece adjustable hood has a crown adjustment. 150-gram polyfil insulation provides warmth. Imported. Sizes: S-2XL. Camo patterns: Mossy Oak Break-Up® Infinity™, Realtree® AP™.
My husband told me I would need a Dry Plus outfit if I was to go elk hunting with him this fall in Idaho. So, he gave me a certain amount of money to outfit myself for the extremely cold, sometimes wet conditions. I purchased 1 pair and later after seeing how wonderfully warm they were, 2 more pair of Dry Plus insulated coveralls. I took in one pair for a little better fit but didn't have time to take in the other 2 pair. In the meantime, this March 21, our archery club had a 3D shoot at Horseshoebend, CA. It was thunder showering, the winds were 35-45 miles per hour, branches were blowing out of the trees, the roads were closed due to flooding... you get the picture. Anyway, my husband got me up at 5 am to get ready for the shoot. We had to work taking registrations, run the raffle (Thank you Cabelas for your support- 2/$25.00 gift cards.), and run a clout. This is our archery clubs only fund raiser. I told him there was no way anyone would show up in that kind of weather. He told me this was exactly the type of weather I would be hunting in this fall. He said to bring my Cabela's Dry Plus insulated coveralls. And he took one of my new pair that I hadn't taken in. To make a long story short, I was totally dry except for my hands. My gloves were cotton and wicked water out of the air. It rained so hard the stream at the range, overflowed and people had to be ferried across by truck to complete the course of 28 stations. Everything was wet and muddy. But I and Roy were dry and toasty. It snowed later in the day it was so cold. 41 people, die hards, came to the shoot. Many of them came in Cabela's Dry Plus. I didn't think anyone could handle being out in that windy, wet, almost freezing weather and be comfortable. But, with the correct type of gear it's not bad at all. PS. I stole my husbands Dry Plus gloves. They're too big, but they kept my hands warm. Thanks for making the type of gear so even a California, sun loving, native can handle extreme weather. PSS. I didn't whine once about the weather the whole shoot. Your coveralls are worth every penny. Just ask my husband.
Bought these coveralls on sale recently, What a great buy. We've had serious cold weather here in the mid west recently so my purchase was timely. I took my son duck and goose hunting over the weekend, temp was 5 degrees and he never got cold.
