I bought this because, in warmer weather, my vest was hot and cumbersome. I figured this would lighten my load and be cooler than the vest covering my entire body core. I thought I would have to take less stuff into the woods, though. When I started transfering my stuff over from my vest, I was surprised to see that I could cary nearly everything I had in my vest (way more than I would ever need on a hunt). I got two slate calls, two strikers, a carrying case with 5 mouth calls, a box call, a pair of pruning shears, two shotgun shells, a flashlight, a jake goble, an owl call, a crow call, and a screeching hawk call in it. The only thing I didn't have room for was my decoys.
The seat leaves a little to be desired. It is pretty thin but there is a replacement seat available.
All in all, I am very impressed.
