These anglers were competing not only for cash and prizes, but the opportunity to qualify for the 2010 Cabela's King Kat Classic. This year's Cabela's King Kat Classic will be held on the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway at Columbus, Mississippi November 12-13, 2010.

This past Saturday July 31st the Cabela's King Kat Tournament Trail held a local qualifying event on the Ohio River at the Fort Massac State Park Boat Ramp in Metropolis. These anglers were competing not only for cash and prizes, but the opportunity to qualify for the 2010 Cabela's King Kat Classic to be held in October at a site to be announced.This was another exciting event with less than 2 pounds separating the first and second place team with the Masingale team claiming another victory with a weight of 132.65 pounds.

This past Saturday April 24th the Cabela's King Kat Tournament Trail held a qualifying event on the Ohio River at Henderson, Kentucky where over 110 anglers from 12 different states braved the elements to fish in this event. The Ohio River at Henderson has become a major hot spot on the Cabela's King Kat Trail with anglers driving hundreds of miles just to fish this event.
