Outdoor Edge Butcher-Lite Set

This rugged nylon roll pack has every tool you need to field dress, skin, quarter and bone a big-game animal. The pack easily converts to a scabbard you can wear on your belt and still access all the tools inside. You receive a 3" caping knife, a 4-1/4" gut-hook skinner, a 6" boning knife, a rib cage spreader, a 6" wood-bone saw, a tungsten-carbide sharpener and game-cleaning gloves. The knives feature full-tang construction for superior strength and are constructed of high carbon 420 stainless steel. Their slip-resistant and ergonomic rubberized Kraton® handles ensure a solid grip in any weather. Each knife has a plastic scabbard that snaps into the nylon roll pack and can be easily removed for cleaning.

1. Has everything you need at a minimum for a butcher set to field dress large game without the big bulky plastic case.
2. Found watching their DVD's gave helpful insight on using their products properly.
3. Wearable plastic lined scabbier so you have your knifes at your side.
Improves:
1. Instead of plastic gloves, provide knife resistant gloves.
2. Wish it had a flip n zip double blade in the set for large animals. So a buddy could help out.
Overall a great product for hunting game that require quartering and packing out.

I was very excited to learn i got this field kit for christmas. handles felt good but that was it blades were dull, nicks in the edge. ive never had to sharpen a set of knives before i used then. i couldnt even cut my backstraps into steaks. all in all very poor quality of steal.

The non slip handles were nice but other than that the knifes were kind of cheap and didn\u2019t hold a edge very well. I Used theses knives to clean a 1 mule deer and they were already dull. I think I would have been better off spending the money on one decent knife instead of 3 junk knifes.

Makes It Easy!

First chance to use my Butcher-Lite today on a nice 8-point whitetail. The knives and bone saw made short work and little mess in the field. Very sharp blades (be careful!) and no-slip handles were the best. My hunting buddy was so impressed, he's planning on buying a set of his own.
