These are just replacement blades, but the miniblaster broadheads are excellent. I shot a nice 4.5 year old buck this fall with them and they performed flawlessly. The 1.75 cutting diameter is what I really like, as I switched from bacon skinner 75s in order to get a little larger cut. The blood trail left from these broadheads is excellent, and pass-thrus are no problem if you are shooting a bow and arrow combination that has greater than 70 lbs kinetic energy. The blades themsleves are fairly strong, although after one kill, the blades are done, but that is to be expected with expandables. I didnt lose any blades on that buck I killed this year and the shot exited through his front shoulder. Excellent porduct.
I have been actively bow hunting for the past five years. I started out with the "kicker" over the top miniblaster and thought it was the best I could shoot, with every shot pass throughs and heavy blood trails. In 2007 I purchased the newly designed over the top, minus the "kicker" miniblaster and they out preform the old design. I achieve cleaner, quieter pass throughs with short after the shot trails. Still my favorite arrow head, thanks.
