NAP Razorback™ 100-Grain Broadheads

The famous Razorback has been redesigned now and is the only cut-on-contact broadhead with deep-penetrating, ultra-accurate rotating technology. The rotating blade cartridge consists of strong stainless steel blades set in a super-tough composite core. Ultra-sharp .039" thick main blade cuts-on-impact for deep penetration. The .020" thick bleeder blades deliver incredible shock and heavy blood trails. Per 3.
Size: 100-grains, 1-1/8" cutting diameter.

One of the best fixed blade broadheads made
Date:
I have been using the current version NAP Razorback broadheads since they replaced the older cartridge style Razorback 3, 4, and 5 series heads probably 15 years ago. I have killed probably 30 deer, 2 elk, one black bear, and a dozen turkey and coyotes with the Razorback 125, and have absolute confidence in them. I switched to the 100 grain head last year when I had to lower my bow's poundage from 70 to 50 due to arthritis in my shoulders. Killed 2 deer last and 2 this year with the 100 grainers, and they are great too. If you look at the 100 grain and 125 grain heads you will see they are identical blades, bu the 125 grainers have a small weight just behind the heads that adds the 25 grains. I love the cutting surface on the point of the head, and I do believe that the spinning head design allows the blades to ricochet off bone and result in better penetration. I wish they weren't so expensive, but they are well worth them money when you hit the animal and know you are going to have good penetration, good blood trail, and a recovered animal. And, they fly exactly like like field points and group into 1" at 20 yards, 2" at 30 yards, 3 inches at 40 yards, and 4" at 50 yards for me, using a drop away rest on my Hoyt bow. I will NEVER switch heads until they stop making them--hope they don't!

Great upgrade!
Date:
I have a been a loyal NAP Thunderhead 100g user for 15 years, but have not been able to bring my last 2 boars down when I have not had a pass through shot, with my Hoyt Compound, or my Bob Lee long bow.. After a friend showed me these Razobacks he used to bring down his boar with his long bow, and the damage it did with the small bleeder blades, I was sold. This broad head flies straight, and the rotating axle and cut on contact blade, allows better penetration and the ability to churn up and cut inside inside the entrance hole if you do not get a pass through. I like that I can also rotate my arrows so my fletching can be laid flat in the quiver for transporting. The results speak for themselves, just pulled down a nice 150# meat hog last week!
