G5 Montec Sharpener

Has a fine (1,200-grit) and a coarse (600-grit) side for fast reshaping and honing. This flat diamond stone puts a razor-sharp edge on the Montec broadhead as well as other fixed three-blade heads with a cut-on-impact tip. It comes with nylon case. Measures 2" x 3-1/4".

i guess it works ok.. i elk, bear, and cougar hunt with the g5 montec.. love the broadhead.. the sharpener however is nothing more than your everyday sandstone.. while it works "decent" i guess why not just buy a cheaper sandstone that works just as good if not better?

Purchased this so I could reuse broadheads so I didn't have buy new Montecs every year. Was skeptical at first but after using it, I am very impressed. Easy to use and very effective. I can resharpen used broadheads to an edge sharper than brand new broadheads.

I have been using the G5 broadheads to deer hunt for a few years now with very good success. Until my purchase of the G5 Montec sharpener I have used a small hand held non-diamond stone which was difficult and time consumming. With the new stone I not only dressed my good broadheads but also was able to return a used one back into service that I thought had been too badly damaged to ever use again.

Works very well with my montecs. thanks to this sharpener, I have bagged a buck and a doe with the SAME broadhead this year. All I had to do was re-sharpen the montecs after each harvest.
