Crossbow engineering concepts and manufacturing technology is constantly changing. Stay ahead of the curve with TenPoint’s Turbo XLT. Xtreme Limb Technology means a radically compact bow assembly that spans a mere 13.5" axle-to-axle when cocked. Unlike any other TenPoint offerings, the XLT riser is lighter, has more acutely angled limb pockets and 11" limbs versus standard 12" ISO Taper limbs. The XLT riser also has a lighter, coated foot stirrup. MR Cams and Ultra-Cam string and cables with tunable yokes mean high performance. Silky-smooth and agile, 180-lb. draw weight can propel a hefty 420-grain bolt up to 315 fps while generating 92.5 ft.-lbs. of kinetic energy. Using a lightweight, molded Verton® stock and barrel assembly help bring the bow in at just 7 lbs. 11 oz. The Turbo XLT features the patented DR dry-fire inhibitor and Power Touch Trigger. Double-dipped in Mossy Oak Break-Up® Infinity™. Top-of-the-line ACUdraw™ crank cocking mechanism reduces draw weight to about 6 lbs. for fast, easy loading.

This is what u need to know byeing a crossbow...
Date:
I am very well trained and have been shooting everything all my life and have shot many crossbows but this review wont let me post any thing about others.so here is my break down I bought a ten point turbo because of the ratings and what is claimed to do.the the only good thing i can say about this one is its accurate at 20 yards to 40 but forget after that, pulse it dose not have good kinetic energy and that's a big deal not just the speed so u have good penetration any expert should tell u that.I also like many other people wrote know it dose not go near as fast as it says i put it thru radar and used the best carbon arrow with a nice 100 grain light head and it would not go over 300fps so that was the worst and that's thru i think it sinks so bad after 40 or 50 yards so it makes it hard and just not worth the money at all. ether get ten points best carbon fusion model or something else. others are good but ill give it to them on that one just bring the prices down it was way more than i wanted to spend but well worth it and it dose what it says and has a new scope that adjusts for the yards to it sweet. I hope i helped someone make up there mind just do your research and read all the facts about what ever you are purchasing pulse listen to others that bought it if they have experience. GOOD LUCK ill try to answer any question.

My First Crossbow
Date:
I am a brand new crossbow user. I got my crossbow permit for WV in March and have spent 4 months researching the different crossbows that are offered. Finally, on August 12 I visited the Cabelas store in Hamburg PA and shot a crossbow for the first time. A very helpful associate named Ryan allowed me to shoot about 8 different crossbows. I shot Parker, Horton, Ten Point and Excalibur bows. I decided that the Ten Point Turbo was the right bow for me. A word of advice to all you tree stand hunter; Don't forget to consider how wide the limbs are when you are choosing a crossbow. This initially was what sold me on the Ten Point bows. When I got back to WV on Sunday, I shot the bow in at the recommended 30 yards. My third shot was in the black about the size of a dime. I shot two more shots at 30 yards (at different bulls) and got the same result. I took a shot at my 20 yard target and hit the bull again. My dad shot the bow and this was his first time at shooting a crossbow. He hit the center of the bull as well. I am looking forward to archery season in WV, but my guess is the bucks in my area are not.
