An affordable and effective combo for beginning bowfishers and veterans alike. It includes a Cajun screw-on reel spooled with 50 ft. of 80-lb. test bowfishing line. You also get a solid fiberglass arrow outfitted with a Sting-A-Ree Tournament point and an AMS safety slide. All for one great low price.
This product worked great. Arrow was heavier than what I'm used too but that is easily accommodated. Needs a heavier gauge string. Took a shot at a pike in shallow water and missed it hit the bottom. The 80# test broke when trying to retrieve the arrow. Also could use more string. With a 10 yard max I was limited to fish that were right next to me. My buddy was able to get the the pike across the bay(35 yards) with his kit. The rivets holding the spool to the bracket broke the first time out also. Still a good kit for a beginner.
I just started bow fishing this year and didnt want to invest to much in it, this was a great kit to pick up for the price. After a few snags I had it working nicely. I would have given it a five but the rivets that hold they reel are weak and need to be replaced with screws. Other than that a great product that got me started.
This kit works great! After getting used to aiming at fish in water, I got two big ones. One at a little over 10 feet away and another maybe 15 feet away. I had no problems with the reel or the arrow, they worked perfectly. Just make sure you tighten everything real good. With this kit, the only thing you'll have to worry about is your aim. I used a 35 lb. recurve.
