Terrible design
Date:
As stated prior "I've had two of these sights break off while target shooting - after very little use. Both sights broke where the sight tapers down to the windage adustment. The frame at this point is very thin, and the vibration from arrows being shot causes the frame to fracture."
I like the pin design alot but will not try a third time. Both sights broke in the same place within one week of shooting from my deck. Absolutely no drops, pressure or abuse on the sight other than repeated shooting.
I can't belive they have not addressed this design flaw. I wish I read the review prior to purchasing.

Product Defect
Date:
I like the Trophy Ridge sights, but the design of the Fire Wire is defective. I've had two of these sights break off while target shooting - after very little use. Both sights broke where the sight tapers down to the windage adustment. The frame at this point is very thin, and the vibration from arrows being shot causes the frame to fracture. The pins light up great. Trophy Ridge is going to need to figure out a better frame to keep this one together.

last straw
Date:
this is the 3rd trophy ridge site i've purchased, and all 3 have had to be returned because they broke. you just can't tighten the set screws down at all without stressing these weak sites to a point that they will snap as you shoot. who wants a site that rattles or comes loose all the time because you can't tighten the screws? i didn't even finish siting in at 20 yards before this one flew apart after a shot.
another negative is how close the top pin is to the site ring. theres not much clearance, so your field of view isn't stellar. i tried moving to whole ring, but then the pins wouldn't adjust far enough to make up for it. having a larger ring, or building the pins farther down would have taken care of this.
on the plus side, i love the multiple green pins. they're the easiest to see in low light, which would have extended my range early and late.
as much as i love the vertical pin alignment, this will be the last trophy ridge site i purchase.
