Digital Guardian is a self-contained, sealed module in the lower unit, controlling speed and monitoring vital motor components in one protected location, eliminating the sonar interference commonly associated with analog circuit boards. Digital Guardian monitors your motor's amp draw, heat dissipation, output and other vital parameters. The result is a motor that self-regulates, providing a cooler, quieter, more efficient running motor over an extended-service life. These motors are durable, yet mobile enough so you can quickly adapt to changes in structure and shoreline. A raised, lighted directional indicator on the all-metal head shows the way at night from any angle. The tough, metal foot pedal has variable speed control, and the two-cable, pull-pull steering reduces torque for effortless handling. The extruded aircraft-aluminum Gator spring mount with a spring-return breakaway feature delivers strength and protection up front. A rigid stainless steel shaft permits torque-free steering and extended corrosion-free use. Has a built-in weed ring and a durable Machete® prop.
