Everything about the newly-designed Riptide ST 80 is engineered to put you in complete command with minimal effort so you can focus on fishing instead of your motor. The Riptide ST 80 is a 24-volt unit with either a 54" or 60" shaft and variable speeds with 80 lbs. of thrust. Deployment of a trolling motor couldn't be easier. Just push the handle and fall-away ramps deploy the Riptide ST 80. Superb balance lets you effortlessly raise and stow the motor and a master cut-off switch prevents motor activation in the stowed position. Digital maximizer technology precisely controls the power draw on the battery at various speeds, eliminating wasted power and extending battery life to keep you on the water longer. The Riptide ST 80 is housed in white casings specially engineered to withstand harsh saltwater environments. The Riptide also places precise control at your fingertips by using the popular handheld CoPilot in place of a foot pedal.

The best fishing tool I've ever owned.

Both my son and I have used my new trolling motor with outstanding results. This one is so much easier to use than a foot or hand controlled motor there is simply no comparrisson. It moves my 20Ft Sea Hunt with ease even on the lowest speed settings. The first charge of the new batteries lasted for six fishing trips. The remote control and auto pilot are simply the best fish finding tools I have purchased in twenty years. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.
This TM also allows my wife and I to enjoy an almost silent cruise through the creeks and rivers around Charleston, SC. I give it five stars because it has performed admirably everytime we've been on the water, around fifteen trips now. The batteries are giving me around twenty five hours of play time before needing a charge. Deployment and retrieval are as easy as it gets. This is a five star product no doubt in my mind. Not to mention the Red Fish I'm sure I'll be landing due the stealthy nature of this fishing tool.

riptide 80

More then enough power for a 19' center console boat. The design of the motor requires that the mount extend past the bow of the boat. This is a problem when docking.
