SKB Parallel Limb: Needs Improvement
Date:
I've had this case for 3+ years now. At first I thought it was the perfect case... but over time my opinion has changed.
Let me start with the good:
1) Although my case has never been abused or taken through an airport, I'm confident it would provide good protection under those circumstances.
2) Really like the way you just set your bow in and shut the lid with no straps to fool with.
Now for the bad:
1) Soon after purchase all of the foam and carpet lining started peeling off. Bought the best contact adhesive i could find, and completely re-glued everything. That worked well for a year or so, but then it started peeling again, and now almost all the foam is laying in there loose.
2) The arrow holders are pretty useless, especially when connected to a piece of "floating" carpet.
3) Really is a bulky case due to the thickness and weight. I've found that I rarely take the SKB with me anywhere, instead I usually transport my bow in a small cheap case, and use the SKB like a home "bow cabinet".
4) The gasket may keep dust out, but water goes straight through. One time it got rained on in my truck bed... but wasn't worried about it since the gasketed lid was advertised to keep everything dry. To my surprise, I discovered my bow completely soaked and release under an inch of water. When I dumped the water out, of course most of the foam went with it. I was soooo close to driving over it with my truck!
Bottom line:
I'm still glad to have it, but don't feel like I got what I paid for... would not purchase if I had it to do over. But after another 5 hours of cleaning off glue residue and re-glueing, it will be pretty nice again... just keep it out of the rain.

IMPRESSED
Date:
Bought this to strap in the back of my rhino and put my bow tech captain in. It has been beaten, covered in trail crud, and submerged. After all moments of abuse I open it up and the bow remains in place and dry. Also tthe inside looks wicked. If there was a professional assassin out there that took out his marks with the bow he would have this case. The thing I like the best about this one is your bow is somewhat press fit into the case and it takes on a custom "mold". No velcro straps to chaff your strings either.

Bow Case
Date:
I purchased the Matthews Monster and my bow fits very snug in this case. Another reviewer put it best that we have to almost pry our bow into the case. It is definately protected but I have to take the quiver off to get it to fit. The arrow holders on this bow are also a joke. They don't work.
I purchased this case to protect my bow while I travel and it has worked great so far. It is a little bulky though.

Nice Case
Date:
Bow case DOES fit my Mathews Reezen 6.5, however i have to remove the quiver. Its a very snug fit but i think i prefer a snug fit since it doesnt have straps to secure the bow. Wish the arrow storage area was longer. I'm a 29.5 draw, dont know the exact arrow length, but i have to remove my broadheads for the arrows to fit. With that said its still the best case I've seen. Worth the extra money if you'll be traveling w/ your bow.
