Great Blood Knot Tool!

Honestly, I think the \u201cTru-Blood Knot Tyer\u201d is a great invention and a great tool for building knotted leaders which is much faster than by hand! After reading the instructions, I tried my first blood knot which didn\u2019t work because of not having enough TAG line. I attempted a second with more TAG line \u2013 it worked, one beautiful blood knot after another and another completing a 9\u2019 leader. The secret is; wrapping the post around lines (NOT wrapping with fingers) creating a one twist in the \u2018standing\u2019 and \u2018tag\u2019 lines. Also, five raps are always recommended at a minimum with a maximum of eight raps but that depends upon the recopies being used.

This is probably the best engineered, machined and finished piece of junk I have ever seen. The video on their site is worthless, too short and no audio with explanations. The directions leave a lot to interpretation, I tried it a number of ways and after wasting an hour an a half put it with the slip to BE RETURNED. Save your money.

incomprehensible instructions

I bought this but the instructions are incomprehensible. The manufacturerer should post a You tube video and link to it so we could SEE how it works.
At first I thought it was just me but now I see all these other negative reviews I realize the fault is not mine.

I spent over an hour trying to tye a blood knot. I followed the directions as best as possible. I never could get a decent knot tied.
