We took the value-packed performance of our popular Prestige series and stepped everything up a notch. A new disc-drag system sports a cork drag washer and adjusts to a wider range of settings. The cast-aluminum frame has an unmatched strength-to-weight ratio, and the new midarbor design yields plenty of backing capacity for battling long-running fish. The molded, paddle-style handle and large drag-adjustment knob round out the features on this exceptional reel at an amazingly low price.

Great Reel

I have had this reel for about 5 years on my 4 wt. It has never let me down whether i was presenting dries to 10 inch browns or nymphing for 15+ lb carp, yes on my 4 wt. It is a work horse. It has survived unscathed being plunged into the mud and accidental sand getting into the drag.
The only thing i had to do was to take it apart when i got it and leave the screw that holds the drag adjustment a little looser, still tight, so that the drag would free spooled, it was a little tight at first. The drag has been completely adjustable ever since, from free spool to nearly dead stop.

An excellent reel for the price. It will get the job done without breaking the bank. Have caught trout and salmon and bass on one of these reels.

I purchased this reel as a step-up from my 'old-standby'. Its smooth and easy to adjust. i also like that it is easy to disassemble for cleanning and adding new line. a great product for a great price.
