Selecting the right transducer; Lowrance recommends:
83/200kHz transducer in shallow water less than 900 ft.
50/200kHz transducer in deep water greater than 900 ft.

The StructureScan module merges high-resolution data with its high-speed Ethernet from three field-proven systems – SideScan imaging, DownScan™ imaging and 2-D sonar. This fish-finding triple-play provides a complete underwater picture in split-screen format on any HDS system. This sleek, simple-to-install system includes a low-profile transducer and the LSS-1 black box waterproof module that connects easily to your new or existing HDS unit with an included 15-ft. Ethernet cable. The plug-and-play LSS-1 module also lets you network up to three HDS units for monitoring SideScan, DownScan and 2-D sonar across multiple screens for one-look access to critical data; it’s also adaptable for other upgrades like the LWX-1 satellite receiver.
