Molded-plastic ice-hole cover incorporates a slit for your camera cable and cable cleats to securely hold the camera depth. To change the viewing direction of the camera, simply turn the cover.
I purchased an underwater camera earlier this year and loved it. However, constantly twisting the cord all day, trying to get the camera pointed at a particular location was a pain in the rear. And not only that, after I found what I wanted to look at, the camera would slowly drift and change the view. Not anymore. The camera compass is a vital piece of equipment in my opinion. No more sore fingers after a day of cord twisting. The camera still drifts slightly after it has been locked into place, but it is REALLY easy to find where I want to point and make the adjustment.
I wish I had not put off buying this so long. It's a pretty simple design and it works. Beautiful.
